Day 6/6: Go in peace. My takeaway from this reading was that courageous peace is a contagious peace. Gods invisible work within you is preparing you for his visible work through you. We have more influence then we realize when others see courageous peace reflected in your life while the world might not reflect peace at all!
TGF Bible Study 📖
Day 5/6: Shape your worry into prayer. My takeaway from this reading is that worrying attempts to take our focus off today and projects it nto the future as the worst case scenario. Pray about it and let his true peace reside in your heart and mind. Worrying takes away our trust in God
Day 4/6: Fight for focus. My takeaway from this reading is to focus on Jesus when your experiencing hardships or adversities. Don't take your eyes off of Jesus stay focused on what he is telling you in the midst of the chaos.
Day 3/6: Flying kites in chaos. My takeaway from this reading is to trust God with the things that are causing chaos in your life. Rather then trying to control them yourself. Put your hope in God who is consistent and never changes
Day 2/6 What is courageous peace? My takeaway from this passage is peace is knowing that God is working even when we don't understand it especially in a world full of normalized defeat we can stand with assurance that we can be courageous when we chose to fix our eyes on Jesus 🙏🏽
Day 1/6: The missing peace
My biggest takeaway from this reading is that God way to bring us peace to our world isn't giving us a strategy but by giving us Jesus. He is the prince of peace. Living in todays world can be a thief of peace, but always lean back on Jesus with the uncertainties of life and that's where the peace has always been 🙏🏽
Count Your Blessings Day 9:9 My biggest takeaway for this devotional is that when we regularly take inventory of what God has done for us, release his new, Faith, hope, and joy. It also brings new life into our circumstances and relationship. We can't ignore the importance of a thankful attitude. Our lives need to be filled with thanksgiving always
Blessed are the merciful Day 8:9 My biggest takeaway for this devotional would be that Gods mercies are NEW every morning. We receive mercy from God and he expects us to let it flow out of us to others. Help others in their time of need even when we are in our own storms. Mercy is a lot like compassion and compassion is how God moved.
Remain Patient Day 7:9 My biggest takeaway is that patience is the ability to wait. It includes our behavior while we wait. Being impatient can cause stress which will become to much and effect your health. A patient person is a powerful person and in turn trust God to work out everything for their good
Day 2/9
My biggest takeaway ;
We have to continue to move in purpose taking full responsibility and ownership upon our life for the good and bad. Even in the mixed of the trails where you have the most growth have patience and perseverance for the overall big picture knowing you LACK Nothing !
Refer to James 1:2-4
Day 6:9 My biggest takeaway from this devotional is that God doesn't cause suffering but he will use it for our benefit as we trust in him. Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance🙏🏽
Day 5:9 Biggest takeaway from this devotional is that part of living a positive attitude is learning how to let go of life's disappointments and regrets instead of letting them pile up until our life is filled with them. Positive Godly thoughts lead to positive words and feelings and spreads to every single part of our lives
Day 4:9 My takeaway from this devotional is don't be afraid to pray and ask God for the things that you may think you don't deserve. Unanswered prayers is failing to actually pray. Ask for BIG things because he is a BIG God!! Matthew 7:7 ask and it will be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened to you
Day3:9 My takeaway from this devotional clearly stats to chose your words wisely. The tongue has no bones but what's delivered if not observed can hurt. God wants us to chose our words wisely.
Day 6/9 ✅
Takeaway:
God always has our best interest at heart. The pain, trials, and uncertainties that we each go through are not dismissed by God. He will bless us as we make it through these times. Always remain steady and faithful in Him
TAKE AWAY:
God didn't promise life would be easy , he continues to work through us to help us grow with all the negative and challenges we face. Even when we don't understand having faith in him that everything will work out . No matter what the situation or circumstance is good or bad the way we act towards it shouldn't change . Have gratitude always and focus on the positives of life rather than the negatives and what you don't have or won't work .
Day 5/9 Devotional ✅🙏🏽
My biggest takeaway is to always remain POSITIVE and choose the right perspective and attitude despite what you're going through. God uses all things for good when his people are in alignment with his purpose and will. Being positive and reminding myself that "this too, shall pass" always holds the truth that Jesus came for us to live ABUNDANTLY (John 10:10). There is nothing in this world that compares to the Love from the Lord our God!
I completed Day 5/9
My biggest takeaway from todays is that no matter what is going on in our lives, we must remain in a positive state in order to get through the loss. God's promise to us is to test us and reward with abundance.
Day 3/9 Devotional ✅🙏🏽
Forgot to post this last night, but wow this one was POWERFUL. My biggest takeaway was definitely reflecting how much growth I have in being mindful of what I say. The tongue truly has power to speak life or death. I believe James 3:8 (No human being can tame the tongue) stood out for me. I've grown so much in this area but realize that I will never be perfect. We must consistently view our lives from a positive perspective and speak God's promises over our situations so that we progressively improve!
I completed day 4/9
My biggest take away is to never be afraid to ask God for anything. If we simply pray and talk to instead of complain we will receive his blessings.
Day 3/9 finished ✅
Takeaway:
Words are so powerful. The words we speak to another person or even more, ourselves, can either build a kingdom or destroy it. Training the mind to take 2 extra seconds to think before speaking is critical to leading a positive, Godly way of living.
I completed day 3/9
Be careful what you say
Proverbs 18:21- the tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat it's fruit
Day 2/9 Devotional ✅🙏🏽
My biggest takeaway and reminder from tonight's reading has to be acknowledging that God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28) I am learning in this current season that we are all CALLED to live righteously. This comes with inevitable challenges, trials, and tribulations. Although we may fall short, God forgives us and allows us to bounce back in strength and perseverance, through faith IF we repent and trust in him.
WOAH, this devotional is powerful yall 🙏🏽
2/9 complete!
My biggest takeaway: Going through trials and tribulations can be difficult in the moment, BUT you never know what God is using you for. Your trial may one day be used to help others who are going through something similar. God doesn't waste anything. He may be making you into a living testimony!
Day 2/9 I completed
we should be joyful when we encounter trials because they will work patience and perseverance in us
Day 2/9 finished!
Takeaway:
The struggles we go through in life aren't necessarily always from our own doing but how we respond to them is. Staying close to God and knowing that He can provide us with the strength, courage, and wisdom to get through the situations.
I finished Day 1 of our devotional and it was powerful! Hand in hand with what we discussed today on Bible study and on my value session for tonight. As I was reading a song was in my head, called My Good by Evan and Eris. Great song that is about God working the mess out for our good.
Day 1/9 Devotional ✅🙏🏽
My biggest takeaway: GOD will never leave us nor forsake us. In the midst of what I am going through, I believe that God will still bless us and do something great with every situation. Putting my trust in God has been difficult and I could relate to the fact that I am far from perfect, but I'm growing daily in communion with him. I will continue to walk in confidence bc "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid." (Hebrew 13:6)
Day 1/9 complete!
My biggest take away would be to remain patient and to trust god even in the middle of the mess when we may not understand what is going on! He is always there for us and is always working things out for our good!
Day 1/9 of the devotional complete!
My biggest takeaway: God grows us little by little. It is in our interactions, moments of prayer and simply just communicating with God where He helps to deepen our faith. He doesn't change us all at once but by seeking him, He helps us grow! 🙏🏼
I found this verse to be very impactful because it shows that there is absolutely NOTHING that can separate me from God. I love that we are always connected to the Maker and Creator 🤍
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Day 1/9 finished 💎
My biggest takeaway is even in hard times when things feel so flustered and out of control, simply saying aloud "God I trust You" is so effective. And the verse that came to mind while reading this day and it was touched on is
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will set your path straight"
Proverbs 3:5-6
